RELOCATION FAQ'S


Q: What positions get relocation? 
A: We offer paid relocation for eligible roles. 

Q: Is there a minimum number of miles I must move to be eligible for reimbursement?

A: You must relocate 75+ miles to be eligible for reimbursement.

Q: Will TQL pay relocation reimbursement for my spouse and/or children to relocate with me?

A: Yes, TQL will pay airfare and meal expenses while traveling for all individuals or families relocating, plus one person assisting with your relocation. 

Q: How does TQL pay reimbursement? Flat rate or per usage? 
A: Reimbursement is based on the expenses you incur and is tiered based on how many miles you will relocate. TQL does not pay a flat rate. 

Q: What items does TQL's Relocation Reimbursement Program cover?
A: TQL's Relocation Reimbursement Program Covers:


  • Loading and transportation of household goods and personal items
  • Storage expenses (up to 30 consecutive days)
  • Mileage ($0.23/mile) OR fuel expenses
  • Hotel expenses (up to 5 nights)
  • Airfare expenses for individual(s) relocating +1
  • Parking and tolls
  • Packing materials and postage
  • Rental vehicle and car transport services

Q: Will TQL pay for me to visit the city I would like to move to?
A: Once you have been offered and accepted a position, as a part of your total relocation package, TQL will reimburse travel costs associated with the move or house hunting trip: airfare, hotel, gas, OR mileage, tolls, and meals.

Q: Once I am employed with TQL, when do I receive my reimbursement? 
A: Receipts for relocation expenses must be submitted within the first two weeks of employment or physical relocation. If you should choose to leave TQL before this time, reimbursement will not be paid. 

Q: Will TQL cover the care/transport fee for my pets?
A: No - Animal care, supplies and/or transport fees are not included in the reimbursement program.

Q: Will TQL cover my apartment deposit or application fees in my new city? 
A: No - Housing deposits, rent, termination fees or application fees are not covered.

Q: If I am unable to move into my home until after my start date, is this still covered by TQL's reimbursement?
A: Once you accept a position, please keep your recruiter updated on your move and we will work with you on when to turn in your receipts for reimbursement. We will evaluate this on a case-by-case basis. 

Q: What is the commute like for each location?
A: All offices have housing options within driving distance or by public transportation. Depending on the office, some locations have employee-paid parking. Ask your recruiter for additional details. 

Q: Will TQL pay if I break my lease at my current location to relocate?
A: No - TQL will not reimburse termination fees, application fees, rent or housing deposits.
