MILITARY MONTH

TQL celebrates Military Appreciation Month in May across each of our 60+ offices. Employees come together to support our troops by participating in events like building Military care packages, the DAV5K and more. Our customers and carriers also play a role in making donations during the week of Hauls for Heroes, where a portion of every load moved is donated to a military nonprofit.
             HAULS FOR HEROES
TQL makes donations to military charities for every load moved the week leading up to Memorial Day. Since 2009, the campaign has raised more than $474,000 for charities like the DAV & USO.
              DAV 5K MARATHON
The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is a non-profit that helps more than 1 million veterans in life-changing ways each year. TQL is a proud sponsor of the DAV5K in Cincinnati, where employees and locals come together to support our veterans.
             HQ'S HELPY HOUR
Each year, employees volunteer their time to assemble personalized care packages for the USO to distribute among our troops. We've reached over 12,500 military service members and veterans since 2009, and strive towards making a difference every year.

VETERANS DAY

We salute those who serve us by showing our gratitude during TQL's Veterans Day lunch. "TQL has supported those who have served in the military in various ways, but the coolest thing for me was sending care packages to the boys down range. I spent five years in the Air Force as a Port Dawg and was able to make a smooth transition to working at TQL. Since then, I've been growing as a Sales Rep in Dallas, TX with the motivation to continue grinding and provide for my family."

"I love helping people and making a difference in their lives. As Captain of Chicago's Drayage Department and previously serving four years in the U.S. Army as an Ammunition Specialist, I've adopted the work hard, play hard mentality. The army has helped instill a high level of discipline in myself at a young age, and I've brought that same level of discipline with me over the last three years at TQL."

"After completing eight years in the navy, I became a Sales Representative at TQL. The teamwork and camaraderie gives me the motivation to want to succeed and help both myself and my team. Since Day 1, the culture is what initially gave me the confidence to start this new journey. What stands out to me the most is TQL's Care Package Program for the troops down range, because sometimes a little piece from home is what keeps spirits up."

"With eight years in the Air Force, my mentality was about working hard no matter what to ensure the mission gets done. I've learned through my military training that there is always another solution, and I use that mindset in my day-to-day tasks at TQL. I'm proud to be part of a company that is always growing and going above and beyond to celebrate everyone's accomplishments". "

"Before working in logistics, I was a Combat Engineer Team Lead in the Army. For me, the best thing about working at TQL was the camaraderie. The strength I've seen in the teamwork is what's kept me motivated to continue growing with this company. I've taken advantage of their relocation program and have continued to professionally advance in my career."

"After my first job shadow with TQL, I was completely sold on the position. As a Truck Driver in the Army, I was already familiar with the logistics industry and knew this is where I wanted to be. Integrity is one of the values I carried while I was serving and it's something I see every day on my team at work. One of my favorite ways to reflect at TQL is to share stories with other fellow veterans during Military Month and Veteran's Day Lunch."
