About the role:
As a TQL Legal Compliance Analyst with a focus on Customs, you will support the Legal Department by assisting with the execution and oversight of customs‑related compliance responsibilities. The Analyst will support Legal’s resolution of customs‑related issues, evaluate, audit, and promote compliant filings and processes, and ensure customs compliance activities are consistently tracked, documented, and applied across TQL, its subsidiaries, and affiliates.

What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with researching and interpreting laws, regulations, rulings, and guidance to support customs compliance efforts
- Support the development, review, and maintenance of compliance manuals, audits, procedures, and training
- Monitor and audit organizational processes and documentation to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support day‑to‑day customs compliance operations for sales and operational teams by providing guidance and ensuring filings align with regulatory requirements
- Support the review of U.S. government agency notices and dispositions and assist with preparing responses
- Collaborate with internal teams and external industry contacts to share information, learn best practices, and support compliance initiatives
- Champion quality service by upholding and enhancing organizational standards
- Contribute to a high-performing team, taking on new challenges and projects as needed
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in legal, compliance, audit, or regulatory environments
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Acute attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for learning
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and an evolving regulatory landscape
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online legal research
- Customs training or experience is a plus
- Experience with CargoWise or similar transportation management systems is also a plus
