About the role:
As a Recruiting Data Analyst, you’ll support a fast‑paced, data‑driven recruiting organization by turning complex recruiting data into clear, actionable insights. You’ll partner closely with Recruiting Operations, Recruiters and leadership to deliver reporting that directly impacts hiring strategy and operational efficiency.
This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role for an analyst who thrives in a constantly evolving environment. You’ll work daily in Excel, Power BI, SQL, Fabric, and Avature, balancing recurring reporting with urgent ad‑hoc requests as priorities shift.

What you’ll be doing:
- Build, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards used by recruiting leadership and operations teams
- Perform advanced Excel analysis (pivot tables, formulas, reconciliations, data cleanup) to support business decisions
- Write and adapt SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze recruiting data
- Analyze data from Avature and other recruiting systems to monitor pipeline health, hiring trends and performance metrics
- Support reporting and data workflows within Microsoft Fabric
- Respond to recurring and ad‑hoc data requests, often under tight timelines
- Identify data quality issues and recommend improvements to reporting or processes
- Partner with Recruiting Operations and leadership to clarify requirements and align priorities
- Document metric definitions, assumptions and reporting logic to improve consistency and scalability
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years’ experience in data analytics
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using it daily for analysis, validation and ad‑hoc requests
- Hands‑on experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write clean, optimized queries for data extraction and validation across large datasets
- Experience working with recruiting, HR or operational data (ATS experience such as Avature is a plus)
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with frequently changing priorities
- Ability to translate data into clear, concise insights for non‑technical stakeholders
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and accountable for data accuracy
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems or a related field
