As an International Logistics Coordinator, it’s your job to assist the sales floor by coordinating all international shipping needs. This includes ocean, air and customs paperwork for customers while providing outstanding customer service. The position will also assist in developing and training future team members by serving as a coach during their training period and continuing to provide mentoring support during their tenure.
Identifies and selects Freight Forwarders for shipments, ensuring the shipment is being tracked from pick-up to delivery.
Coordinate all proper customs paperwork as needed.
Accurately enters and maintains up-to-date information on a continuous basis in Load Manager.
Negotiates rates for shipments with our Freight Forwarders. We believe in under promise and over deliver.
Works quickly to resolve problems that may develop.
Responsible for adding and maintaining accurate shipment documentation in Load Manager I-cabinet including shipment details, customer rate, carrier rate and insurance requirements.
Assist with education and training of new employees as the department grows. First, we’ll train you.
Act as the TQL point of contact for all Freight Forwarders.
Leads the onboarding process for new Freight Forwarders.
Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate others. Your support helps drive success.
Must exhibit strong sense of integrity in daily business practices.
On call, receiving calls from carriers, clients, prospects and sales representatives 24/7/365.
