Regional IT Support Supervisor / Cincinnati , OH

Your job:

  • Supervise a team of elite Regional IT Support professionals.

  • Develop and coach team members on issues such as customer service, communication, and technical skills, to enhance the quality of support delivered.

  • Design and facilitate a performance measurement framework.

  • Work with the other Support Supervisors to create and maintain a schedule for Satellite Office visits to exceed our Satellite Office Leaders’ expectations. 

  • Continuous evaluation and enhancement of the Incident Management process.

  • Assist with maintaining and improving equipment inventory processes in all locations.

  • Lead and participate in strategic IT projects across the company.

  • Maintain constant communication with internal customers to understand the business’s technical needs.

  • Resolve daily issues of a complex scope that impact the team and overall business objectives.

  • Prepare staffing plans to ensure we continue to build and develop a world-class IT organization.

  • Train and prepare the support team for the latest product and service releases.

  • Guide the professional and technical development of the team enabling them to set technical goals, monitor, mentor, coach and assist team members to deliver quality support.

  • Assist our IT Security Team in maintaining network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. 

  • Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.

 

You need the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in an IT leadership position or proven experience in leading complex technical projects in an enterprise environment.

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

  • An emphasis and motivation for assisting in the development and success of others.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Excellent technical skills on the latest technology platforms.

  • Strong work ethic, with a fierce dedication to exceeding expectations.

  • Impeccable organizational skills with the ability to multitask and deliver results under pressure.

  • Experience with Microsoft products (AD, Exchange, Windows Server, Office Suite) and a VoIP system (preferably Avaya) is a must.
